Following advice received from Sport New Zealand today regarding the use of masks, the CNZ Tournaments at Red document has been updated.
Initially it was understood that if you have exclusive use of the venue, participants would not be required to wear masks. However, it has now been clarified that this only refers to gatherings. Masks are mandatory for all attendees at an event regardless of whether there is exclusive use of the venue or not. CNZ tournaments are considered events under the Covid Protection Framework.
Masks can be removed when;
- Actively playing.
- Sitting eating or drinking.
