MacRobertson Shield Team Announcement

CNZ is pleased to announce the New Zealand Team that will compete in the upcoming Association Croquet Team World Championship, the MacRobertson Shield, to be held in England between 24 July and 9 August 2026.

The 2026 MacRobertson Shield celebrates the centenary of the event, which was first held in 1925 between Australia and England, with New Zealand joining in 1929. The centenary event will be contested by hosts England, Australia, the USA and New Zealand and each team will face each other in test matches consisting of 21 best of three matches, 9 doubles matches and 12 singles matches.

The three rounds of test matches will be held:

Round 1: 24-28 July – at Roehampton & Hurlingham, London
Round 2: 30 July -3 August at the Sussex County Croquet Club, near Brighton
Round 3: 5-9 August at Surbiton, London

Jarrod Coutts (South Canterbury) will be leading the team as Manager and non-playing Captain.
