Jake Inwood leaving Croquet New Zealand

Croquet New Zealand is today announcing that Jake Inwood has resigned from his position as Chief Executive of Croquet New Zealand, finishing on the 23rd August 2022.  The Board would like to thank Jake for his work over the last five years and wish him well as he furthers his career in New Zealand sport with Hockey Manawatu.

Jake leaves the organisation in good heart having guided it through a period of growth before the pandemic caused a slight drop off.  He has overseen the introduction of live streaming of croquet in New Zealand, the push for making it accessible to disabled players and success in World Championship events such as the Openshaw Trophy and Under 21 Golf Croquet.

“The past 5-years have flown by, with so much being achieved in the sport” says Jake. “There have been so many highlights, it would be impossible to name just a few.  Croquet is in a really great place right now, and I am excited to see the continued progress moving forward”.

The Croquet New Zealand Board will begin the recruitment process shortly and will provide an update when appropriate.
