How Croquet New Zealand is proceeding

Covid-19 has placed Croquet New Zealand, the sporting sector and the wider New Zealand community in an uncertain and unprecedented situation.  During this time, we must band together and support one another to ensure we emerge from this stronger.

While Croquet New Zealand has been in constant contact with Associations, it has been remiss not to have put something on our website until now for croquet members to access the same information directly.

Even though the rest of the croquet season had been suspended, the Executive have now confirmed what will happen to the remaining tournaments and programmes for the 2019-20 season:
GC Invitation Events – Cancelled
U21 GC Championships – Postponed
Coaching Coaches Workshop – Postponed

The postponed events will be reassessed once the Government’s alert level is zero.

Croquet New Zealand will continue to plan for the 2020/21 season with optimism that the decisive action taken by our Government will allow our next season to be played, unaffected.  However, we have measures in place and for the season to receive the “green-light” from the Executive, the alert level must be zero.

We encourage all croquet members to look after themselves and their loved ones during these difficult times.
