This week, the Government announced updates to the Covid Protection Framework (CPF) to recognise that New Zealand is approaching the peak of the Omicron outbreak. The majority of these changes will come into effect from 11.59pm Friday 25th March 2022.
A summary of the key changes includes;
- No restriction on the number of people for outdoor gatherings and events which use My Vaccine Passes. Indoor events and gatherings are limited to 200 people.
- Face masks are no longer required in outdoor settings. Face masks are still required in most indoor settings.
- QR codes no longer need to be displayed or scanned.
If events / gatherings do not use My Vaccine Passes, the current restrictions still apply.
Croquet New Zealand has reviewed the CNZ Tournaments at Red Protocols and have updated them accordingly. We are excited to be able to welcome back spectators, with My Vaccine Passes, at the remaining CNZ Tournaments for this season.
The new Guidelines will come into effect from 11.59pm Friday 25th March 2022, in time for the Don Reyland Stars Final this weekend, and can be found here.
