Cantabrian, Jenny Clarke, ventured north to the Wairarapa to claim her third Women’s AC Invitation title. Clarke dominated from the first game, going undefeated on her way to the 2021-22 crown with an impressive +136 net hoops through the 7 games.
Alison Robinson (Wellington) secured second place having won 6 of her 7 games. Robinson’s only loss came to Clarke (20-9) in the final round, which was a winner take all game.
In what was a tight competition, three players were tied with 4 wins after the 7 rounds. South Taranaki’s, Bonnie Johnstone, claimed third with +55 net hoops over Cindy Clarke (Bay of Plenty – +18) and Carissa Price (Manawatu-Wanganui – -26).
