The 2021-22 Tournament Guidelines require New Zealand to be in Alert Level 1 four weeks prior to the start date of a competition for the event to proceed.
Unfortunately due to Auckland still being in Alert Level 4, and the rest of New Zealand being in Alert Level 2, the 2021-22 North Island GC Championships have been cancelled in line with the 2021-22 Tournament Guidelines.
Individuals who have entered are entitled to a refund as set out in the 2021-22 Tournament Guidelines which can be found here.
While this will understandably be disappointing for those who were excited to play in these Championships, the safety of all participants is paramount.
