CNZ Forward Calendar
Croquet New Zealand is committed to re-establishing the 3-year calendar which helps provide players, Associations, and Clubs with certainty around when CNZ tournaments will be held. Due to Covid, and the recent changes to the CNZ calendar, this was put on hold for a few seasons.
The CNZ Tournament Committee is currently working on the new 3-year calendar which will run until the 2025-26 season. This will be posted on the CNZ website shortly.
Covid-19 has provided many challenges since it emerged in New Zealand in early 2020. During this time, many tournaments have been cancelled, postponed, and held under restrictions.
New Zealand is currently under the Covid Protection Framework (CPF) which operates like a traffic light setting with three levels; Red, Orange, and Green. Detailed information on how each level impacts the sport sector can be found on Sport New Zealand’s website.
CNZ tournaments are able to be held under each of the traffic light settings. However, guidelines are in place to ensure the safety of players, volunteers, and spectators. These guidelines can be found in the policy section of the Key Documents page.
CNZ will continue to monitor the situation and will update these guidelines to ensure they align with Government guidelines and continue to keep our community safe. Any updates will be announced on our website.
