Entries Allocation date:       Wednesday 15th October 2025
Closing date:             Wednesday 12th November 2025
Entries may be limited due to the number of lawns available. When this occurs, entries received prior to the allocation date will be accepted with priority being given to the highest ranked players registered. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt between allocation date and entries closing for any available places. Register online here.
Entry Fee Open Singles: $90
Doubles: $40 per player
Late entries may be accepted on application to the manager.
Club House The daily player Club House fee that is paid to the host venue has been included in the entry fee. There will be no refund if the player leaves early.

Events

1. North Island Open Championship: Play will commence with single game block play leading to a seeded knockout draw. Challenge Trophy presented by Residents of Palmerston North.

1(a). North Island Open Plate: Format to be decided upon providing competitors with a full playing schedule. June Aitken Memorial Trophy.

Biennial Event 2023-2024 Winner: Jarrod Coutts

2. North Island Championship Doubles: Method of play will be determined once entries are received. Challenge Trophies – Cups presented by Mr J.A. Nash, MP and Croquet Hawkes Bay.

Conditions

  1. Time limits may be imposed.
  2. Event 2 will be played on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th December 2025.
  3. Events 1 and 1(a), will commence at 8:30am, Friday 5th December 2025.
  4. The best player within each of the handicap ranges of 0 to 3.5 and 4+ will be identified and trophies presented at tournament-end.
  5. Refer to Tournament Regulations Appendix 5 for Tier 2 playing conditions & hoop dimensions.
