16 Associations were represented at Morrinsville Croquet Club on the 26th and 27th of March to compete for the 2022 Don Reyland Stars.
The relaxation of the Covid Protection Framework restrictions, which came into effect at 11.59pm on the 25th of March, enabled spectators to attend CNZ’s premier GC Handicap tournament.
Playing in a single block round robin, the crowd was treated to plenty of close games across both days.
South Taranaki’s Ricardo Pintor secured the 2021-22 Don Reyland Stars title after accumulating 13 wins from 15 games over the 2-days.
Nelson’s John Kane and Manawatu-Wanganui’s Amu Gust both ended with 11 wins each. Gust secured second with +23 net hoops over Kane who had +20.
