This photo was taken by Willy Ransfield of Design Studio who made the scoreboards. He framed it and donated it with the instructions that it be auctioned at the Presentation Dinner with the proceeds to go to Cranford Hospice. The winning bid was from the Heretaunga Croquet Club for $750.

New Zealand Schools Finals Results

After an eventful two days on the the Kapiti Coast, the New Zealand Secondary Schools title still resides in South Canterbury.  However, it is Logan McCorkindale and Josie Tallents from Ashburton College who can now call themselves National Champions beating defending champions, Kaleb Small and Christopher Spittal of Mt Hutt College, 7-5 in the final and in the process breaking Mt Hutt’s 3 year stronghold on the trophy.

Angus Coulter and Trident College Arnob Das defeated two-time semi-finalists Ellie Ross and Vienna Van Heeswyck from Nelson Girls or 3rd place. 


In the Plate event for positions 17-36, local team Nathen Bullen and Fabian Tippett (Kapiti College) defeated Rathkeale’s Oliver Donaldson and Daniel Beveridge 7-2.
