Greg Bryant secured his 5th NZ Open title defeating Josh Freeth 3-1 in the final at Mt Maunganui.
The Championships held from 5th-13th January began with the doubles on the first three days. The doubles championship was won by Chris & Jenny Clarke who beat Paul Skinley & Harps Tahurangi 2-0.
