CNZ Tournaments – Covid Restriction Update

As of 11.59pm on the 4th of April, the requirement for My Vaccine Passes was removed by the Government.  Croquet New Zealand has worked with Heretaunga Croquet Club to understand how this change should impact the CNZ Covid Guidelines for the final tournament of the 2021-22 CNZ Tournament season, the Terminator Mallets U21 GC Championship.

Following this consultation, the decision has been made to retain the current CNZ Tournaments at Red Guidelines.  The key points to these are;

  • My Vaccine Passes are required for everyone attending the event.  Including, but not limited to, players, officials, and spectators.
  • There are no capacity limits while outdoors.  Clubrooms may be limited to players and officials.
  • Face masks are not required outdoors.  However, should be worn inside the Clubrooms unless seated eating or drinking and where physical distancing cannot be achieved.
  • If people are unwell, they should stay home.

This decision was made in the interest of the health of our players, volunteers and all others wishing to attend this event, and to provide consistency for attendees.

Information on the Covid-19 restrictions for this event has been communicated directly to the players by the Manager.
