Following the announcement that all of New Zealand would be moving to the Red setting of the Covid Protection Framework (CPF) from the 24th of January, Croquet New Zealand has been reviewing what this means for CNZ tournaments.
After reviewing the updated guidelines and seeking clarification where appropriate, Croquet New Zealand is pleased to announce that CNZ tournaments can continue under the CPF Red settings. However, with some restrictions. The CNZ Tournaments at Red document has been compiled to outline how CNZ tournaments will be run to ensure the safety of all involved.
To ensure the safety of all in attendance, CNZ tournaments have been limited to required volunteers & officials, players and one (1) invited guest for each player, and CNZ staff when necessary. Players are required to register their guest with CNZ prior to the tournament, more details are included in the CNZ Tournaments at Red document.
