Croquet New Zealand is currently seeking applications for two vacancies on the Board.
With recent changes to the constitution, and the adoption of the 2021-26 Strategic Plan, Croquet New Zealand is poised for significant growth and the current Board vacancies presents an exciting opportunity for individuals to be part of this.
About the role
CNZ is seeking two (2) experienced independent board members to join the CNZ Board. The successful applicants will play an instrumental role in the continued growth and development of croquet in New Zealand.
CNZ is looking for the applicants with the following:
- Governance experience in the not-for-profit or similar sector.
- Play, active recreation and sport sector knowledge and experience.
We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates who have legal and / or IT expertise.
Time Commitment and Term
The successful candidates will be appointed for a term of two (2)-years and can be re-appointed for a maximum of three (3) consecutive terms.
The CNZ Board meet monthly on the third Monday of each month. Occasionally there will be face to face meetings which will require attendance as well as attendance at the Annual General Meeting.
This role is on a voluntary basis.
