Croquet New Zealand is seeking applications for two Board positions, to fill the vacancies left by Appointed Board Members Fiona Martin and Michael Naylor who are retiring from the Board in March 2024.

About Croquet New Zealand

Croquet is played recreationally and competitively in over twenty countries globally. A very social game, it attracts a diverse group of players including an equal number of men and women.

Croquet New Zealand (CNZ) is the National Sports Organisation (NSO) charged with the development and promotion of croquet in New Zealand. There are 19 Associations, 114 Clubs, over 4,800 members nationwide.  In the two main forms of the sport New Zealand competes in the top tier so croquet is clearly a sport on the rise.

In October 2020, a new Constitution was approved at the AGM allowing independent board members for the first time in the organisation’s history.  The 2021-2026 Strategic Plan has CNZ preparing for some exciting changes that will set the platform to propel further growth.
