Following the election there remains a vacancy in Electoral District Central. The vacancy shall be dealt with by the new Board in accordance with Clause 10.16 of the CNZ Constitution.

The new Board will take authority from 8 December 2025, and will be responsible for shaping the next phase of CNZ’s development and growth.

We will soon be sharing more details about the new Board members on our website.

The chair of the Initial Board, which will be handing over to the new Board, commented that he wishes the new Board well in continuing the development of croquet in New Zealand in accordance with the investment initiatives agreed with Sport New Zealand.  These require us to continue to improve our governance practices and to develop the capabilities of our coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers at all levels.  We are also required to enhance the development programme for young people in our sport, supported by an expanded coaching network at regional and club level.  While that is youth focused, it has the potential to benefit players of all ages and all levels of ability.

Congratulations to the newly elected Board Members!
