Board Changes

On 10 August 2025 Baubre Murray resigned from the Board of Croquet New Zealand (CNZ). Baubre was elected for a two year term at the 2023 CNZ Annual General Meeting. Baubre was also the Chair of the CNZ Finance Audit and Risk Committee.

The CNZ Board subsequently sought to fill the vacancy left by Baubre’s resignation, in accordance with the CNZ constitution.

The Board approached Dr. Graeme Roberts to be seconded to the CNZ Board. Graeme is well known across the croquet community for the last 50 years. Graeme is a Life Member of CNZ, a member of the World Croquet Federation (WCF) Management Committee and other WCF Committees, a member of the CNZ Laws Committee and an inductee of both the WCF and CNZ Hall of Fame.

Graeme accepted the request and at the Board meeting on 19 August 2025 the CNZ Board formally seconded Graeme to the CNZ Board.

Chair Darla Blake says, “On behalf of the CNZ Board, we would like to thank Baubre for her service to CNZ during her tenure.  We also extend a warm welcome Graeme to the Board, effective immediately.”
