Croquet New Zealand announced on the 9th of November 2021 that due to the current Covid-19 Alert Levels, the New Zealand Open would be postponed.
The 2021/22 NZ Open will now be contested from the 12th to 18th of February 2022 in South Taranaki.
In order to ensure that the NZ Open could be held in February, the re-scheduled event has been reduced. The doubles will now be contested over two days (12th & 13th) and the singles will be contested over 5 days (14th – 18th).
Due to the Covid-19 enforced change, and a reduction in playing days, the entry fees for the 2021-22 NZ Open have been adjusted to;
NZ Open Singles: $85
NZ Open Doubles: $25
This change is only for the 2021-22 event and will revert back to the advertised price, subject to any review, for the 2022-23 season.

Entries close on the 20th of January 2022.
